pushing boundaries II - boards of canada

Boards of Canada havn't been in much of a pop style spotlight, but I think they have made more of an impact than most in the underground idm and downbeat scene. Most of your favourite emo bands that all you emos love today will probably list Boards of Canada as a favourite.
They're known for revamping old 60's and 70's tv show samples, which are by nature grainy and rough, while puncuating them with idm style percussion.
Always and interesting riff or synth melody, always a delve into an ambient atmosphere.
This one caught me with the heavy drumkit sequence towards the end:

  4. Thats odd, never heard of them before. Really like the soothing type feeling. A lot better ambient than some of the junk I've heard other places. Like 95% of Aphex Twin and Future Sound of London suck imo.

    But this I like, quite a bit. Neat video too.
